You know football season is just around the corner when conferences hold their media days. That's just what happened Monday in Dallas as the Big 12 rolled out the red carpet for half of the conference teams. Defending champs Baylor held court as head coach Art Briles and Heisman hopeful Bryce Petty made the rounds. Texas and Oklahoma take the stage on Tuesday.

Good news came in the form of a clean bill of health for several Texas football players. David Ash, Johnathan Gray and Jordan Hicks were among several Longhorns who were given the all clear to participate in practice.

Plus, the THSCA all-star basketball game in San Antonio.

It's another packed Sports Night as we wrap-up the week.

Big news for Charlie Strong and the Texas Football team. A report says Jonathan Gray, who tore his Achilles tendon last season at West Virginia, will be cleared for fall camp. We'll have the details.

Five years ago, Garrett Gilbert was one of the nation's top recruits at quarterback. After signing with Texas, Gilbert began a tumultuous college career. The St. Louis Rams drafted him in the 6th round of this year's draft, and as he prepares to go to training camp, he talks with our Mike Berman.

After two rounds of the Open Championship, it's looking like Rory McIlroy will be tough to catch. We'll show you the highlights from Royal Liverpool, plus talk with Golf Channel anchor/reporter George Savaricas to get his perspective on the first 36 holes.

And we'll catch up with a familiar face, Texas-Ex and Super Bowl champ Aaron Ross. Travis Recek goes 1-on-1 with the Ravens defensive back.

Those stories and more are one click away on another stacked edition of Sports Night.

Today is one of the slowest days in the sports world, but we still have a busy show for you on this Wednesday.

We start off with more reports of Texas football players meeting with an agent. Tweets from a St. Louis based agent tweeted in March about having dinner with four Texas football players, Cedric Reed, Desmond Jackson, Steve Edmond, and Jordan Hicks. Those tweets have since been deleted and the university isn't commenting on much, but we have the latest on all that.

Plus, we check in on the best of the Big 12 with more award watch lists and All-Big-12 teams announced, as we look ahead to Big 12 media days next week. Our Travis Recek catches up with Jace Amaro, as always Chip Brown joins us in-studio, and our Mike Berman checks in with Baylor quarterback commit Chad President.

All that and so much more on this slow but steady evening on Sports Night.

On this Tuesday evening on Sports Night, we begin with some big news at the prep level, as UIL is taking the state basketball tournament from Austin to San Antonio for the first time since the tournaments inception in 1921. We have the reason behind the move, and reaction from both UIL officials and San Antonio officials.

Boris Diaw is officially a member of the Spurs, once again, after he signed his new contract, and also in San Antonio, Floyd Mayweather gets ready for a big fight with Marcos Maidana. Chip Brown joins us in-studio to talk recruiting and possible NCAA no-no's for Texas, as the University allegedly self-reported some issues with some football players.

Plus we check in with a local cross fit gym as they prepare for their biggest competition of the year, and of course we have highlights with the missions and a look at the MLB All-Star game. All that and more on this Tuesday edition of Sports Night.
