On this Monday edition of Sports Night we're feeding our football urges. We catch you up on the latest news on UT football and it's vanishing roster after Charlie Strong reportedly dismissed at least four more players from the team Friday. Chris Cybulski spoke with local high school coaches about their reaction to the teaching moment at Texas. The Longhorns did have something to feel good about Monday, though, as Du'vonta Lampkin, a defensive lineman from Cy Falls near Houston, committed to UT.

Travis Recek continues our Cowboys camp coverage from Oxnard, California, with good news on former Longhorns Henry Melton and Chris Whaley. Plus, Joaquin Sanchez gets feed back from Texans camp, via Comcast SportsNet's James Palmer, who talks about the new mentality under Bill O'Brien and how the team is taking to their new coach. Plus, Peyton Manning breaks it down on the practice field, and they are moves you won't want to miss.

All that and so much more packed into this Monday edition of Sports Night.

In this edition of Sports Night, we get you all caught up on Charlie Strong's latest dismissals. First it was Kendall Sanders and Montrel Meander for sexual assault allegations, now a group of others for reportedly violating team rules. Jalen Overstreet, Josh Turner, Joe Bergeron, Chevoski Collins were all sent packing. Kendall Thompson also left the team. Orangebloods.com's Anwar Richardson joins the show to discuss the fallout.

Central Texans Samaje Perine and Baker Mayfield found their way up to Norman. The former Lake Travis quarterback and Hendrickson running back now play for the Sooners. Joaquin Sanchez hears from the team about the two athletes.

Travis Recek joins the show from sunny California. He reports on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and catches up with former Baylor Bear Ahmad Dixon.

Big news from the 40 Acres, and not the kind of publicity Charlie Strong and the Texas coaching staff are hoping for. Texas wide receivers Montrel Meander and Kendall Sanders are accused of sexual assaulting a female student last month. Strong suspended the two indefinitely.

Strong did get some positive feedback from his fellow conference coaches earlier this week at Big 12 Media Days. Lauren Mickler gets us caught up on what they were saying about the new lead man at UT.

Also from Big 12 Media Days, Joaquin Sanchez sits down with Baylor linebacker Bryce Hager. The two chat about the Hager tradition of defense, his injury late last season, and luring his younger brother to Waco.

All that plus a report from Dallas Cowboys training camp and a studio visit from Austin Aztex head coach Manuel Buentello. His team starts defense of their USL PDL title Saturday evening.

On this Tuesday edition of Sports Night, we check back in with Joaquin Sanchez and Lauren Mickler in Dallas for day two of Big 12 Media Days. On the docket Tuesday were Oklahoma, West Virginia, Kansas State, Iowa State and of course, Texas. Lauren and Joaquin catch up with Strong, as well as Quandre Diggs, Malcolm Brown, Ced Reed, and Dominic Espinosa. Also, we do our weekly Chip segments from Dallas as well, and he gives us his perception of the Texas team as we are just weeks away from the start of Fall Camp.

Outside of Dallas, the Texas High School Coaches Association All-Star Game showed off some talent in San Antonio, and the Sun Belt also had their Media Days in New Orleans, where coach Dennis Franchione broke down whats in store for the Bobcats for this 2014 season.
