AUSTIN, Texas -- The University of Texas opened its 40th regular season of Women's Basketball with a 63-42 win over UTSA on Sunday afternoon at the Frank Erwin Center.

Texas (1-0) improved to 36-4 in all-time home openers with the help of a double-double from sophomore Imani McGee-Stafford and a game-high 18 points from senior Chassidy Fussell.

McGee-Stafford came off the bench to score 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting with 12 rebounds and five blocks in 22 minutes of play for her 14th career double-double. Fussell drained all six free throw attempts and shot 5-of-12 from the field.

The Longhorns never trailed on Sunday, starting with an 11-0 run and taking a 30-point lead -- the largest lead of the game -- with under eight minutes remaining.

Sophomore Brady Sanders grabbed seven rebounds with six points during her second-career start. Junior newcomer Krystle Henderson started her first game as a Longhorn at point guard, finishing with seven points and one assist in 31 minutes.

Tesha Smith came off the bench to lead the Roadrunners with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
