Orlando -- Texas senior QB Colt McCoy has been named the winner of the 2009 Maxwell Award, honoring the collegiate player of the year, and the Davey O¹Brien Award, honoring the nation¹s top quarterback. Both awards were announced at the ESPNU Home Depot College Football Awards on Thursday night.

McCoy was also named the Walter Camp Football Foundation Player of the Year, the WCFF announced on Thursday. McCoy also won the award last season, making him one of just three players in the award¹s 43-year history to be honored twice (Archie Griffin, 1974-75; O.J. Simpson, 1967-68).
