On this Thursday night, Joaquin Sanchez takes over the reins on the desk, while Ricky Doyle takes in some top-tier volleyball at the NCAA Final Four in Oklahoma City. Ricky has all the action from the Longhorns as they lose in four sets to the BYU Cougars.

We recap the NBA nail-biter between the Spurs and the Grizzlies Wednesday night. We have highlights, reaction, and Travis Recek is one-on-one with ESPN San Antonio's Ari Temkin.

Lots of sports news coming out of Cedar Park. The Timberwolves are back to the State Championships, we preview their game against Ennis on Friday, as Joe Willis and his team seek their second state title in three years. Plus, the Texas Stars have been purchased by the same company that owns their NHL affiliate Dallas Stars, and we have all the details about what's to come in Cedar Park.

In a sensational Western Conference game between two of the best, the San Antonio Spurs and Memphis Grizzlies went to-to-toe for 15 extra minutes. After three overtimes and big shots answered by big shots, Memphis finally won 117-116.

The UT women's basketball team stayed unbeaten Wednesday. The number three Longhorns got center Imani McGee-Stafford back for the first time this season. She had four points and four rebounds in nine minutes. Texas beat McNeese State 76-59.

The Texas men had their best offensive game of the season Tuesday in a win over Lipscomb. They scored 106 points and the players say they finally bought into what Rick Barnes was preaching when they have the ball.

All that plus an injury update on DeMarco Murray, Garrett Gilbert goes to the Patriots, and Chip Brown talks UT recruiting.

After some ugly offensive performances the last few games, the Texas basketball team scored a season-high 106 Tuesday night. Every single player on UT got on the floor and scored. The Longhorns beat Lipscomb 106-61.

The UT volleyball team is in its sixth final four in the last seven years. They will get a strong challenge from BYU Thursday, but they say packing is their biggest focus right now. The Longhorns are worried about bringing volleyball gear as well as nice clothes for the banquets in Oklahoma City.

The Cedar Park football team is back in the state title game. The Timberwolves won a state championship back in 2012 and are looking for another just two years later. They face Ennis Friday.

With just one loss between the two, the Texas men's and women's basketball teams are both ranked in the top 10 early in the season. We catch up with longtime basketball writer Mark Rosner to discuss the scorching starts.

The Texas volleyball team is off to the Final 4 yet again. We go 1-on-1 with Horns Head Coach Jerritt Elliott as his team looks for its second national championship in three years.

It's all about getting hot at the right time, and that is exactly what the Cedar Park football team has done. Posting their eighth straight win, the T-Wolves advanced to the state title game with a 39-21 win over Crosby.

Meanwhile, the Spurs hosted Kobe Bryant and the Lakers hoping to contain Bryant as he looks to pass Michael Jordan on the all-time scoring list.
