Burnet High School's head baseball coach has been arrested after being accused of having an improper relationship with a student.
The Burnet police chief said 28-year-old Jose Miguel Sierra began began communicating with several high school girls two years ago via Snapchat, a photo messaging app, which led to Sierra having a relationship with at least one student.
The Burnet School District was made aware of the incident and called police. According to police, Sierra was questioned and confessed to the relationship. He then resigned and is now under arrest.
The case is under investigation, and additional charges may be filed.
The student's name has not been released.
