Longhorn fans, rejoice. The Longhorn Network is now headed to Time Warner Cable
ESPN has reached a deal with Austin's largest cable TV provider which will put the Longhorn Network on Central Texas televisions as early as Saturday, just in time for the Longhorns' first game of the season against New Mexico State.
ESPN and the University of Texas are in the third year of a 20-year contract, but the channel struggled to reach carrier agreements with many cable providers during its first two years.
The channel airs Longhorn coverage 24 hours a day with events from 20 different sports.
In Austin, you can find it on channels 444 and 1593.
Time Warner Cable is the parent company of YNN.
