The corner of Barton Springs Road and South Lamar Boulevard could become the next hotbed of business growth.

Jack and Adam’s Bike Shop has asked the city to change the zoning designation of four plots on the east side of the intersection to allow for more development options. If the change is put in place, the bike shop could continue to grow at its current location, or sell to a company that wants to build there.

The zoning change would also affect the iconic Peter Pan Mini Golf, which has been located near the corner since 1946. Don't worry about it going anywhere if the zoning change goes though. The old Austin business plans to stay. ClientIP:,, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
