Plans to redevelop a South Austin shopping center are back on, according to the Austin American-Statesman.
Last year, Greystar Properties announced plans to build a mixed-use development at Lamar Plaza where the Alamo Drafthouse and Highball Lounge are located.
After the announcement, many of the smaller tenants got ready to move out of the strip mall.
Then last month, the owner of the shopping mall told YNN the deal was a no-go.
He blamed Greystar for not following through with the sales agreement. Now, representatives from Greystar tell the Statesman the property is under contract again.
