Celiac Disease is a common health disorder associated with eating gluten. It's an illness that causes intestinal damage. Statistics show three million Americans, or about one in 133 people, are affected by the disease.
But whether you have Celiac Disease or not, Austin Chiropractor Dr. Edyi Bauer said the demand for gluten-free products is growing.
"More and more people are noticing when they go on a gluten-free diet that their body changes. They have more energy. They feel lighter. Their digestion is better," Bauer said.
