Investigators are looking into the cause of two fires in Southeast Austin Sunday.
Fire crews said the incident happened at about 8 p.m. Sunday on Woodland Oaks Court. The call came in for a car fire but when crews arrived they also found fire coming from a nearby house.
"Well at this point with a car on fire out in the street, not anywhere near the house, obviously, that does cause some concern for suspicion that this is something other than an accident," Austin Fire Department Battalion Chief Thayer Smith said.
Fire officials say no one was inside the home during the fire.
