On the eleventh day of Occupy Austin, protestors shared the area in front of City Hall with a charity AIDS walk.

Occupy demonstrators gave up their regular staging area at City Hall to the previously scheduled charity walk. Protesters continued the occupation from a nearby area.

"We support it 110 percent and we said ‘Whatever you need let us know.’ And they said they're willing to work with us, and we wanted to give them as much room as possible," Bri Thompson with Occupy Austin said.

Organizers of the AIDS Walk said they were grateful for the cooperation.

"They've been really great in working with us, very supportive of what we're doing here today to support people with HIV and AIDS and the cause,” Paul Scott with AIDS Services of Austin said. “We've been able to work really cooperatively and share the space and support what they're doing as well as they're supporting us."

AIDS Walk organizers said that some of the Occupy Austin protesters volunteered to help set up for the walk. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
