A late-night shooting on Sixth Street left four people hospitalized, according to police.
Austin Police Department officials said they were dispatched to a “shots fired” call on Sixth Street and Sabine Street at around 2:20 a.m. Sunday, where they found three victims with non-life-threatening injuries. Those three were transported to Brackenridge University Medical Center.
APD officials said two men and two women were involved, but they didn’t say in what capacity.
One of the victims transported himself or herself to St. David’s Hospital, according to police.
Police said gang detectives were called to the scene under suspicion that the shooting was gang related. APD doesn't currently have anyone in custody for the shooting.
